Bios:

Sydney Ballam

Sydney has been in five previous productions with LLT, including Paradise Lost (Raphael/Belial), Pride and Prejudice (Jane), Thriller, and Steel Magnolias (Shelby). She loves to sing and loves musical theatre and was very excited to be able to audition for and become part of this Broadway show. Her favourite musical would be either Chicago or The Rocky Horror Show. Currently, Sydney’s favourite song is The Ultracheese by The Arctic Monkeys.  If Sydney could share the stage with any singer, it would probably be Loretta Lynn or Kate Bush. Syndey has thoroughly enjoyed working with the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway.  Her directors have been very supportive and make everyone feel so talented and confident.

Will Bowyer

Will has been a part of several shows with LLT including Tin Woman, Paradise Lost, Drinking Habits, and the Rocky Horror Show. Will’s favourite musical is Mary Poppins, but most likely due to his schoolboy crush on Julie Andrews. Will auditioned to be a party of this Broadway show because he likes to “torture people with my singing.”  When asked about his favourite song Will said that there are too many great songs to pick one, but he will never turn off a Harry Chapin song until it is done. Will would have loved to have had a chance to get on stage and sing Jailhouse Rock with Elvis Presley because he doesn’t think it could get any cooler than that. Working with the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway has been a great experience as everyone is very encouraging, positive and patient. Will would only need cookies to make things even better.

Linda Brown

Linda is still relatively new to Lindsay Little Theatre. She made her theatrical debut playing with the band in The Rocky Horror Show.  When asked about her favourite musical and song she quickly responded with “Anything with Sax!” Needless to say, the lists are long ones. Linda auditioned for this Broadway Review show her previous experience with the people at LLT was amazing and she wanted to work with them again. Given the chance Linda would love to hit the stage with Lady Gaga as she feels she is the most talented woman out there. Working with the cast and crew of this show could not possibly get better for Linda, unless there was ice cream cake.

Carol Burton

This is Carol’s first time on stage with Lindsay Little Theatre. She auditioned for this show as she has previously sung with various sized voice mixes but has never before done a stage show. Bucket list checked off!  Carol’s favourite musical is Wicked, and her favourite song is Song for Mira by Celtic Thunder.  Carol would love to step onto stage and sing Isle of Tears with Emmet Cahill from Celtic Thunder.  Carol has found working with the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway enjoyable and feels that her directors are patient and clear.

Nicki Cadieux

Nicki’s first show with LLT was The Vagina Monologues in February of 2023. She then appeared in Drinking Habits later than summer. Nicki auditioned for this show because she loves Broadway and musicals and couldn’t pass up the chance to be a part of this kind of productions. When asked to choose her favourite musical she chose Hamilton. She likes it so much that her favourite song is anything from Hamilton. To continue with this trend Nicki would love to be on stage singing with Lin Manuel Miranda. She believes that he is such a lyrical genius who changed the landscape of musicals. Nicki would sing Cabinet Battle #1 so that she could rap her heart out. She is very happy that her directors have brought Broadway to Lindsay Little Theatre.

Simone Clark

Simone is another new face at Lindsay Little Theatre. She has attended many shows in support of her good friend Arianna, but this is the first time she has been part of a production. Nothing like starting off with Stage Manager. Simone’s favourite musical is Heathers and her favourite song is N95 by Kendrick Lamar. Given the chance, Simone would love to step on stage and sing with Arianna. Perhaps we will see her on stage at the next musical review. Simone has loved learning about the theater and being included in this amazing production. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Amber Cleland

Amber first appeared on the LLT stage as Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show. She auditioned for A Night on Broadway because she was excited to get to be a part of Teresa’s show and she couldn’t wait to share the stage again with some of her “Rocky family.”  Needless to say, The Rocky Horror Show is Amber’s favourite musical. Her favourite song is Crazy by Patsy Cline. If Amber could hit the stage with anyone it would be Meghan Trainor because she loves Meghan’s energy, every song gets her moving. Amber would love to sing 50’s music with Meghan and “truly bring it back.”  When asked about her director/producer duo Amber said that she loves that Tarina’s thoughts of “what the heck is going on” is written on her face when things sound iffy. It cracks her up every time.  Amber loves that Teresa truly believes in her and pushes her to get her out of her comfort zone, always cheering her on. “Thank you both for giving it your all!

Devon Golding

Devon made his theatrical debut at Linday Little Theatre playing Brad in The Rocky Horror Show. He auditioned for this show because he was looking for another opportunity to sing in the theatre and wanted to get his family involved too.  Devon’s favourite musical is Doom Star Requiem, which is a heavy metal rock opera.  He is taking suggestions for his favourite song, likely the next song he hasn’t heard yet. Devon would love to sing I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing with Steven Tylor. He thinks it would be both awesome and hilarious. It would also be a story of a lifetime.  Devon has enjoyed working with the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway. The directors have been flexible and have no shortage of praise and constructive criticism.

Kathy-Lyne Henderson

This is Kathy-Lyne’s first time at Lindsay Little Theatre, she is brand new to this stage! She decided to audition for A Night on Broadway because she loves to sing and has never done anything like this before, so she decided to expand her world and give it a try. Kathy-Lyne’s favourite musical is The Music Man, and her favourite song to sing is All that Jazz from the musical Chicago.  If Kathy-Lyne could step on stage and sing with any superstar she would sing Memories with Barbara Streisand. Barbara’s voice is on the best Kathy-Lyne knows and she expresses the feelings in each piece.  The cast and crew of this show have been very helpful to Kathy-Lyne as she is “green” to this whole process.

Arianna Koty

Arianna is the youngest member of the cast for A Night on Broadway. However, being young doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have experience. Arianna has appeared on the Lindsay Little Theatre stage in previous productions of Home Child, Paradise Lost, Thriller and The Candidate. In fact, Arianna won the best youth actor award at the EODL festival for her portrayal of Blue in The Candidate. She also appeared as the Ugly Stepmother in the musical Return of the Glass Slipper as part of the LLT summer camps program. Arianna was told by both her mother and Teresa that she was auditioning for this show, so the decision was out of her hands. She would have auditioned anyway. Arianna’s favourite musical is Heathers: The Musical and her favourite song is National Anthem by Lana Del Rey. If Arianna could step on stage and sing with anyone it would be her Mother Tarina because it would be preppy. She would definitely sing Teddy Bear’s Picnic with her because it has become iconic. She has absolutely adored working with the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway because everyone is so encouraging and have forgiven her for getting so sick and missing so many rehearsals. She loves working with her mother and Teresa, the dynamic duo.

Melissa Martone

Melissa has been on stage with Lindsay Little Theatre in the past appearing in MASH, The Carol Burnett Show and most recently The Rocky Horror Show. She auditioned for A Night on Broadway because she loves to sing (even if she can’t lol). Melissa’s favourite musical is Les Misérables and her favourite song is On My Own which appears in said musical. Melissa would love to hit the stage and sing with either Pink or Amy Lee. She chose these ladies because their voices are amazing. Melissa thinks that the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway are the best.

Heather McCullough

Heather is a familiar face at Lindsay Little Theatre. She has been in multiple productions including Steel Magnolias, Drinking Habits, Paradise Lost, Harvey, Tin Woman, Kaleidoscope 1, 2 and 3, Thrillers, Chillers and Broadway Reviews.  Heather has been in a musical every year since she was six years old expect for covid, so she was very excited to be able to audition for and be in one at LLT.  That makes 53 years of doing shows! Heather’s favourite musical is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, especially with Donny Osmond. Her favourite song is Don’t Rain on My Parade from Funny Girl. If Heather could be on stage with anyone it would be Barbara Streisand, but she wouldn’t sing she would just listen. Heather would sing with anything from Wicked with Kristin Chenoweth though. When asked about the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway Heather replied “This team had a dream to bring Broadway to LLT and we are all so grateful. Behind every great team is an Elora Powell who made all things possible,”

Rebecca Mullin

Rebecca is making her Lindsay Little Theatre stage debut with A Night on Broadway. She made the decision to audition for the show because she loves to sing, and her husband (Devon) had such a wonderful experience in Rocky that she just had to try.  Rebecca provided The Last Unicorn when asked about her favourite musical but said picking her favourite song was the most impossible of questions as there are way too many! If Rebecca could get on stage with anyone it would be Maynard James Keenan and she would sing Imagine with him. She thinks that their voices would fit. Rebecca would like to thank everyone on the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway for being so welcoming. She thinks the directors are the best, but she admits she has no other reference.

Vanessa O’Reilly

This will be Vanessa’s fourth show with LLT.  She made her theatrical debut with The Vagina Monologues, and then went on to appear in Drinking Habits and The Rocky Horror Show. She auditioned for this how at the request of Teresa and because she enjoys singing for fun. Vanessa grew up loving Wizard of Oz and it is still on the top of her list. Her favourite song is Please Don’t Bury Me by John Prine.  Vanessa would love to hit the stage with Pink as she is a great entertainer and doesn’t take flack from people.  When asked about the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway Vanessa said “They let me join even if ‘I got not Talent,’ and will let us all, ‘Razzle Dazzle ‘em’!”

Elora Powell

Elora has been doing shows at Linday Little Theater since she was five years old. Some of her favourites have been See How They Run, Happy Days the Musical, and Mixed-up Fairytales. Elora joined on with A Night on Broadway because singing is one of her favourite things ever so when the opportunity presented itself its wasn’t even a question. When asked about her favourite song and musical Elora stated that she listens to so much music it would be impossible to pick but she will never get sick of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. If Elora could hit the stage with any singer she would choose Sara Bareilles. She chose Sara as she has been one of her favourite artists since she was a kid, and she has always loved singing her songs. Elora would sing literally anything with her. Elora is happy to be working with the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway as they create such a positive environment and build up so much confidence for newer actors/singers.

Rob Powell

Rob is a veteran of the stage at Lindsay Little Theatre having entertained audiences there for over forty years. He has been in many productions, most recently having had the privilege of playing Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show. Rob didn’t make the decision to audition for this show and claims that the decision was made for him. Either way, he is a brilliant addition to the show. Rob finds it difficult to choose his favourite musical but the first one that always comes to mind is Les Misérables. When it comes to favourite song Rob finds it too tough to choose. He has a favourite from just about every musical!  If given the chance Rob would love to step on stage with Colm Wilkinson and sing Bring Him Home for Les Mis.

Brian Rump

This is only the second time that Brian is gracing the stage at LLT. He made his debut in the very recent production of Bunny.  Brian auditioned for this show because he has been told his whole life that he can’t sing so he decided to reject that suggestion and make a go at it. Brian’s favourite musical is Book of Mormon, and his favourite song is Ya Got Trouble from the musical The Music Man.  Brian would love to hit the stage with Taylor Swift and sing some kind of great love duet with her. Brian feels that the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway have made his experience positive and fun, and that the directors are talented at casting and song choice.

Teresa Smart

Teresa is quickly becoming a familiar face on the Lindsay Little Theatre stage. She has previously been seen in Murder on the Mayan Riviera, Twelfth Night, Clue, Pride and Prejudice, Drinking Habits, Thriller and The Rocky Horror Show. This time around Teresa is pulling double duty, both directing the show and performing in it. Needless to say, auditioning for this show was not an option for Teresa. When asked about her favourite song Teresa declined and answer as there are too many to choose from, but she did admit to Les Misérables being her favourite musical. Given the chance Teresa would love to hit the stage and perform Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy with her wonderful and talented mom Sharon Smart. Teresa thinks the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway is star packed and working with her bestie Tarina has made it all that much better.

Joey Stewart

Joey has been in multiple productions with LLT including See How They Run (Sergeant), Paradise Lost (God the Son), Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Bingley), Clue(Motorist) and Thriller. He made the decision to audition for this show as he loves performing and wanted a chance to work with Teresa.  Joey’s favourite musical is Shrek the Musical and his favourite song is Don’t Let me Down by the Beatles. Joey thinks that Elton John is a great artist and puts on a really fun show so he would love to get on stage and perform with him. Joey’s song of choice for the performance would be Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting. Joey has enjoyed working with the cast and crew of A Night on Broadway as they create a very fun and comfortable environment for everyone. That also encourage people to be confident in bringing a character to life.

Caius Golding

This is Caius’ first real experience with LLT aside from waiting for his Daddy to get home from Rocky Horror rehearsals. Although not appearing on stage as a performer, you will see him on stage helping with set management. Caius came out to audition for A Night on Broadway because he had never been in a play or stage show before and wanted the experience (plus his parents were there).  Currently, Caius’ favourite song is Footloose, and his favourite musical is the Muppet’s Most Wanted Movie. If Caius could step on stage with anyone to sing it would be his mom and dad as they are awesome. He has so far enjoyed working with the cast and crew of this show as they allow him play Nintendo in the green room while the cast is rehearsing.

Coyote Newell – Light & Sound

Coyote can commonly be found up in the tech booth. She has been an integral part of many plays including Kaleidoscope 3, Tin Woman, Clue, The Candidate, Rocky Horror Show, Steel Magnolias and Bunny. Coyote doesn’t need to audition for shows and is quite sought after to run the tech booth. She believes this is because she has been cursed by an evil wizard. Hadestown and Come From Away are at the top of the list of musicals that Coyote likes. Her favourite song is Dutch Orchestra Blues by The Mountain Goats. Coyote getting on stage and singing with her favourite band is NOT HAPPENING, but she would be more than happy to run tech for The Mountain Goats.
