MANDATE: Develop and maintain a network of volunteers dedicated to community theatre programs.
MISSION: Provide quality, affordable live theatre to the community while encouraging and supporting creative artistic expression and learning experiences for all participants. Lindsay Little Theatre has been continuously active within the City of Kawartha Lakes since the 1960’s. The troupe has operated out of numerous local venues and currently owns a studio building.
CENTRAL ACTIVITIES
- Theatrical and musical productions for adult and youth audiences
- Fostering youth by supporting programs that promote learning and
enjoyment of all aspects of theatre - Welcoming and including all members of the community in a supportive
accessible environment - Participating in community events and fundraisers
- Developing and participating in theatre workshops
- Participating in one-act & full length drama festivals
- Continue fund raising activities to sustain theatre events
- Continue to maintain, improve and upgrade current theatre building
